It also offers plenty of parking possibilities at lots of airports, including London Heathrow. So let’s take a look at what you could be booking if you are travelling from there in the near future.

General information about APH

The name of this company comes from two of the main services they offer – Airport Parking and Hotels. And they have been in business since 1980, so they have plenty of experience in offering a wide range of booking options whenever you are going to travel.

There is also plenty of information about the company if you want to read more about the history of it on their website. They are certainly one of the longest serving companies in this field in the country.

APH at Heathrow Airport

So what type of parking choices do you have when you book via APH at London Heathrow? Let’s find out.

There are eight services on offer in total, and six of those have been awarded the Park Mark. This is a sign that they are as secure as they can possibly be. All the car parks that have been rated on the site have also been rated very highly, so you know you are in safe hands.

Firstly you have the Business Parking service at Terminal 4. It will normally only take around 5 minutes to get to the terminal on the transfer bus, so it is very convenient for this terminal.

Next you have the Courtlands service. This is around three miles from the airport itself and takes a little longer to reach Terminals 1 through to 4. You then have the Reeds Service Park, which again provides a courtesy bus over to the terminals. Transfer time varies depending on which terminal you are going to.

Next comes Parking Express, which serves Terminals 1 through to 4. This operates a transfer bus to your chosen terminal, which is a regular service. Purple Parking is slightly further out, but there is still only a fifteen minute transfer to the airport itself. Quality Airport Parking offers a transfer service too, and is the last parking service of this type.

You have then got the choice of two Meet and Greet services, the first of which is MBW Valet Parking. This means that you can go straight to your terminal and someone will meet you and park your car in the secure car park designed for this purpose. You don’t have to park the car yourself.

And finally there is Purple Parking Meet and Greet. This operates just the same as the service above.

What kind of parking facilities can you get from APH?

As we mentioned above, most of these car parks have the Park Mark award, which automatically makes you feel safer since they have been vetted by police officers.

But even in the rare instances that there is no Park Mark awarded, the car parks are still well taken care of. For example, such items as high fences and regular patrols by security guards are usually in evidence, and you can find out what is available on the separate page for each car park.

What should you be aware of?

If you click on the title of the car park you can also take a look at the additional information that you need to know before making a booking. For example, some car parks require you to be staying for more than twenty four hours. This can narrow down your choices of which one to use.

If you have items such as a trailer or skis you may also find yourself limited, so be sure you check this kind of thing in advance.

In conclusion

APH has a lot of experience already in the area of airport parking, so if you are travelling out of London Heathrow in the near future you may want to give their website a visit.

The fact that they also offer airport parking with a hotel stay the night before makes their service even more attractive for a lot of people. You won’t need this if you don’t have an early morning flight but if you do, you will be grateful of having just a short journey to go to the car park you have booked into.

Trust APH to get your car parked safely – you won’t regret making this choice.
